Rene Larrave
Chairman

Mr. Larrave is the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and founder of Avvantica. As CEO, he is responsible for the overall definition and implementation of the business strategy. Mr. Larrave has over 20 years of management consulting experience in areas that include business strategy, operations, and information technology in a variety of industries including financial services, utilities, retail, telecommunications, manufacturing, hospitality, and high tech.

Most recently, Mr. Larrave was the President, and founder of Tactica, a very successful professional services company that was acquired by Hitachi Consulting, a subsidiary of Hitachi, in 2001. Mr. Larrave took Tactica on an aggressive growth path over 5 years reaching over 250 consultants in three offices with a run rate of $40 million in revenue.

Prior to Tactica, Mr. Larrave was a consultant and a management team member with Booz, Allen & Hamilton in both its London and Dallas offices and with Deloitte Consulting. Mr. Larrave has also held teaching positions in computer science, electrical engineering, and business at the University of Texas at Austin and Monterrey Tech. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering and computer science from Monterrey Tech and Ohio State University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a Certified Management Consultant, a member of both YPO (Young Presidents Organization), YEO (Young Entrepreneurs Organization), and a member of the Board of Directors of a number of for-profit and non-profit organizations.

Juan Rolon
President

Mr. Rolon is the US Consulting Manager at BITAM Inc. where he is leading the development of US Operations. BITAM, Inc is a Mexican BI company that has extended the reach of its solution to the European, Central and South American Markets. Mr. Rolon has over 10 years of Business Intelligence technical consulting, management and technology development experience. His expertise includes building and managing business intelligence technology implementation, support and development teams; as well as developing, implementing and supporting BI and Data-warehousing solutions for a variety of companies across several vertical markets. Mr. Rolon holds a Bachelor in computer Systems Engineering from ITESM Campus Estado de Mixico, and through his career in the BI technology sector he has been part of core teams for such companies as MicroStrategy Inc. and APPIAN corporation.

Patricia Huesca Dorantes
Vice President

Dr. Huesca Dorantes is currently working as Crime Analyst at the City of Richardson Police Department . Prior to Police Department Patricia worked as Institutional Research Associate at the Office of Strategic Planning and Analysis at The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD). She received her B.A. in International Relations from the ITESM, Mexico in 1994, the Master in Public Affairs from UTD in 1999 and the Ph.D. in Political Economy in 2001. She also holds a Geographic and Information Systems Certificate from the same university. Her research is in development and diffusion studies. Her book The Emergence of Multiparty Competition in Mexican Politics (Ashgate 2003) uses new spatial econometric techniques applied to diffusion and political development theories. She is a currently member of the Board of Directors of BHOA - CMA

Gerardo Garza
Treasurer

Mr. Garza is a Vice President at Comerica Bank's International Corporate Banking division. Mr. Garza has 10-years of banking experience lending to corporations in Mexico, Latin America and the United States in a variety of industries including oil and gas, food and beverage, cement, steel, glass, retail, manufacturing and construction. Before joining Comerica Bank, he worked for Citigroup in Monterrey, Mexico in the Corporate Banking department.

Mr. Garza has a Bachelor degree in Accounting from Monterrey Tech and an MBA from Monterrey Tech, the University of Texas at Austin and McGill University in Canada. He is an active member at the Hispanic Bankers Association and a community teacher in several locations in the Metroplex.

Giovanna Cienfuegos
Secretary

Mrs. Cienfuegos has 4 years of experience in Human Development. She worked at Citrofrut, a subsidiary of the mexican Grupo PROEZA. She collaborated in the creation of the Human Resources Department, including the companys training and development program, HR intranet design, creation and implementation of HR polices and procedures and recruitment of several successful executives for the company.

Mrs. Cienfuegos also was founder of DBB in Monterrey, a small company dedicated to the wholesale and retail of baby and adult diapers.

Giovanna has participated in several cultural activities, including being part of a group sponsored by Grupo Pulsar to promote the Mexican Culture in Europe.

Ricardo Ramos
Chairman Resource Committee

Mr. Ramos holds a position as International Business Development Manager for The Arpin Group, Inc. As an IBD Manager, he is responsible for the Sales and Marketing of the shipping services of household goods and commodities in Australia, Europe, South Africa and South America. Other responsibilities include market research and business strategy for the Company's six operation centres throughout the US.

Prior to Arpin, Ricardo was a Human Resources Outsourcing consultant with Ernst & Young in the London and Dallas offices where he serviced the Financial, Banking and Oil industry structuring their international Human Resources departments and streamlining their processes.

Ricardo holds a BA Degree in International Business from Monterrey Tech and MSU as well as a Diploma in European Union Studies from Lincolnshire University, England.

Ramir Camu
Chariman PR Committee

Mr. Camu, founder of TheEyeWorks, began his entrepreneurial journey while attending high school in Mexico City. He created Media Shop, a small IT and multimedia development company with several large clients in the education and accounting industry while attending Monterrey Tech. After arriving in Dallas, Texas in 1998 to finish college at SMU, Ramir, along with other partners, founded a recording label focused on the Hispanic Market. He later sold his share of this company to fund his new venture, TheEyeWorks, a digital marketing firm focused on developing interactive marketing strategies using the web, email and CD-ROMs.

Carlos Carpizo
Chairman Membership Committee

Mr. Carpizo is the founder of TIM Services, Inc. a Telecom Expense Management firm based out of Dallas/Fort Worth. He has over 11 years telecommunications experience in areas that include marketing, sales and operations.

Prior to founding TIM Services, Mr. Carpizo worked at Ericsson where he held multiple positions in Latin America, the United States and Europe. His positions included Sales Manager of 3rd generation wireless infrastructure in France, Business Development Director in Mexico and Vice President of a Key Account in Central America.

He has a Bachelor of Science degree in electronics and telecommunications engineering from Mexico's Monterrey Tech (ITESM) and an MBA from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University

Rafael Figueroa
Chairman Operations Committee

Mr. Figueroa founder of Il Granito was born in Mexico city, he graduated from ITESM Campus Edo. De Mexico with a bachelors degree on International Business on December 1999. He moved to Dallas, TX in August 2000 with the idea of opening his own business. Since then he owns and manages IL GRANITO, a company that manufactures natural stone products for high end residential and commercial projects.
