Following our posada where we got the chance to meet Ed Fjordbak from Essilor Vision Foundation, he is extending the following invitation for their upcoming event.  We are welcomed to pass the word along and sign up as volunteers for this great event which will have Mrs. Laura Bush as special guest. Thanks to the help of the Kids Vision for Life Coalition Partners,

Kids Vision Fest is shaping up to be an exciting event.

Our special guest, Mrs. Laura W. Bush, will read to children and “connect the dots” between vision care, literacy and, ultimately, its effects on our society and economy.  

 Free vision care for children 4 to 12!

• free vision screenings

• free eye exams and glasses (for children who qualify)

Lots of entertainment for the kids!

• Book readings by Laura Bush and other authors and illustrators of children's books 
• Educational activities about vision and the eye and more
• Lots of games and contests including sports
• Art and drawing
• Prizes and giveaways
